first roses

I'm linking my field under a terrific sky with SKYWATCH

Roses from my favourite grower: Jack Harkness

Rosa Margaret Merril
I have no idea what that yellow rose is called:
I picked up some prunings at the garden centre [ with consent] and stuck them in tubs.
If anybody recognizes this rose, please let me know its name.

Rosa "Bridge of Sighs" is already dropping its petals. This is a so-called self-shedder.
That may sound like a good quality for a rose, but it doesn't half make a mess on the greenhouse floor.

This is for Nick's page HERE

and for Denise's page HERE
